Glass Railings
Glass railing systems work well on decks where the view matters - ocean views, garden outlooks, elevated positions where you want the sight line to stay open. We install both frameless and semi-framed glass panel systems, including Infinity and Topless glass systems, and privacy panels for areas where screening is the goal rather than the view.
Wood Railings
Wood railings suit decks where the design calls for a traditional or natural look. We install cedar and pressure-treated wood railing systems that match the character of the deck and the house. Wood railings require more maintenance than aluminum over time - we'll give you an honest read on what's involved during the consultation.
Railing Installation Process
We come out, measure the railing run, assess post placement and anchoring requirements, and confirm BC code compliance for your deck height.
You pick the railing style, colour, and any custom details. We confirm lead time on the materials.
We set a date. Railing installations are typically one day for most decks.
Posts go in first, properly anchored into the deck structure. Rails and infill panels follow. We test every post before we're done.
We walk the finished railing with you and make sure it meets your expectations before we pack up.
